Astraseal is a trade manufacturer of uPVC and composite fire doors which have been fully tested in compliance with the latest Building Regulations. A heat sensitive intumescent strip on the door expands in heat to create a 30 or 60 minute fire resistant barrier.
Fire doors can be used for a range of applications, and are ideal for new-build and social housing installations including fire escape routes, communal entrance halls, and connecting entrances for houses and garages.
We can manufacture fire doors for internal and external use in a range of styles similar to our Distinction composite doors. These incorporate Fab & Fix hardware, and Winkhaus locking to provide maximum security.
REHAU Rauferno uPVC fire doors
The Rauferno uPVC fire door system from REHAU offers the safety and security of traditional fire rated products, but with the excellent thermal insulation and soundproofing qualities of modern uPVC.
This doors achieves an FD30 rating and complies fully with 2006 Building Regulations, with full certification to BS476 Parts 20 & 22.
We can manufacture Rauferno uPVC fire doors in-house and can supply these in a range of different panel styles (including sidelights) in red, green, white or blue faced door slabs.
Distinction and Winkhaus Ecoframe composite fire doors
Our composite fire doors are manufactured using Distinction slabs and Ecoframe from Winkhaus, achieving an FD60 fire rating.
Ecoframe is an eco-friendly door frame with a recycled material core and white powder coated aluminium skin. This system is designed for composite door slabs, and complies with Building Regulations certification to BS476 Parts 20 & 22.
