PAS 24
PAS 24 is a British Standard for enhanced security performance of door assemblies. Astraseal can supply composite doors which have undergone rigorous safety and security testing in order to meet this standard. We can also supply PAS24 certified uPVC and aluminium doors when following a strict specification process.
Quality locking systems
To ensure our products achieve maximum security, we use premium hardware and locking systems when manufacturing. Our windows use Maco and Assa Abloy locks and our doors incorporate high security Winkhaus locks, helping them achieve Secured by Design standard, and give your customers complete peace of mind when buying new windows and doors.
Toughened/laminated glass
In instances where impact to the glass is likely, e.g. ground floor levels, we can supply uPVC and aluminium windows and doors which use toughened or laminated glass. Some of our products are also supplied with toughened glass as standard which we manufacture in-house.
Secured By Design
An official police initiative intended to ‘design out crime’, every door featured in our range achieves “Secured By Design” status. This is done all in the effort to reduce the likelihood of break-ins, a quality of great value to any potential customer. Properties that use products and materials compliant with SBD have statistically been proven to reduce burglaries by 75%.
